For each course we list the entry requirements in UCAS tariff points, A Levels and BTEC Nationals.
Tariff points must include a minimum of two A Levels or equivalent. They can also include a combination of qualifications such as the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
Equivalent qualifications may include a range of vocational qualifications from awarding bodies such as BTEC Pearson, City and Guilds, NCFE, VTCT and OCR Cambridge Technicals.
We also accept a relevant Access to Higher Education Diploma.
When applying for any of our Higher Education courses, you will be expected to provide evidence of a relevant Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
This is to demonstrate that you have the necessary skills to take on the demands of the course, including basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Typically these are Maths and English GCSEs grades 4-8 (C-A*). We will also accept Level 2 Key Skills, Functional Skills or equivalent.
For the majority of our courses we ask that you have at least one Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.
For mature students over 18, suitable work experience may be taken into consideration instead of formal academic studies. You can progress onto this course if you achieve accredited prior learning. Find out more about entry with credit or prior learning/experience.
