How to apply for a course at the New College Swindon University Centre
When you fill out your application please ensure you include the following details:
- Include details of all qualifications and complete all fields of the application
- If you are applying for a transfer into Year 2 entry, you will also need to provide an interim transcript of your studies to date and have an academic reference provided from your current university.
Following your form submission, HE Admissions will review your application and send one of the following emails:
- Making you an offer on your chosen programme
- Making you an offer on an alternative programme
- Advising your application has been unsuccessful
- Requesting further information (if we do not have enough information to complete our assessment or cannot see your qualifications in UCAS because you are holding an offer elsewhere)
- To accept your offer: you must ‘refer yourself' to the course through your UCAS Hub
- If you haven’t applied through UCAS yet, you will need to create a UCAS application and then ‘refer yourself’ to the course.
After you refer yourself, we will 'accept you’ in UCAS (you will be able to see this acceptance in your UCAS Hub). We aim to process Clearing applications within 24-48 hours but complex cases or those missing information may take longer.
The UCAS website provides full instructions on how to register and complete an application.
If you haven't done so already, then you will need to register for an account. For 2023 entry, the application fee is £22.50 for a single choice, or £27.00 for multiple choices.
When applying for a course, you will need to use the institution code, campus code and course code as provided on each course page.
